Synergies
Where SchoolMedDiet Connects
From PRIMA-funded predecessors to EU-wide policy frameworks, every connection amplifies
the project’s reach and embeds its outcomes within durable structures for change.
Design
Standing on Solid Foundations
SchoolMedDiet builds on the knowledge and methodologies of previous PRIMA-funded projects, notably SWITCHtoHEALTHY and MED4Youth, which demonstrated school and community engagement in dietary interventions. Our project takes the next step, introducing a structured, transdisciplinary and digitally enhanced Living Lab approach grounded in co-creation.
EU Policy Agenda
Connected to Europe’s Policy Agenda
The project is closely aligned with the EU Farm to Fork Strategy, the European Green Deal and the Common Agricultural Policy, and contributes to Sustainable Development Goals 2, 3 and 12. Its work on green public procurement connects school food services to wider EU climate, health and sustainability objectives.
EU Policy Agenda
A Mediterranean Living Lab Knowledge Hub
To amplify and sustain impact, SchoolMedDiet will establish a Mediterranean Living Lab Knowledge Hub — a platform for transnational knowledge exchange that connects our Living Labs with the wider community of researchers, educators and policymakers working to transform Mediterranean food systems.
