SchoolMedDiet Living Labs
What Is a Living Lab?
A Living Lab is a real-world innovation ecosystem where solutions are co-created with the people who will use them. In SchoolMedDiet, each Living Lab is embedded in a primary or secondary school and brings together students, teachers, parents, municipalities, local farmers, SMEs, researchers and policymakers to co-design, test and scale Mediterranean-diet practices in everyday school life.
Our Network
Four Countries, One Framework
We are running four national Living Labs — in Greece, Malta, Tunisia and Morocco. Each is tailored to its local context and education system, while sharing a common methodology and evaluation framework that enables cross-country learning and benchmarking. Together they form a living network for transforming Mediterranean school food environments.
